Discovering - Tomb Raider 15 years Celebration

“To me Tomb Raider is an invitation of discovery – to travel. For this reason I wanted to represent Lara in a vast environment. I’m really excited to discover the different landscapes through the new Tomb Raider and in the meantime I offer my vision.” – Johann “Papayou” Blais

Hello, stunning piece!
I don't know if it is co-incidence or deliberate, but did you use Mitoku-san as your influence for the temple in the rock? (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mount_Mi… If so, why did you choose it? Have you been there? Or just thought it fit the image you wanted to create?
Thanks for taking the time to answer my questions!

The joy of discovery is mixed with the horror of deceit, as reality comes by, shining light on the decayed architecture of a once glorious civilization. In other words, the place is dead, and it's inhabited by wolves, crazy cultists, horrors and rapists (including perverts).
